The fresh update for Calibre deepens support for DOCX format and improves overall functionality of the application by doing away with a few issues.
Version 0.9.38 includes support for hyperlinked images and for horizontal rules created by typing three hyphens and pressing Enter key in the case of DOCX files. On the same note, the developer included the possibility to insert page breaks at the start of every new section. Also new in this revision is the option to embed referenced fonts when polishing books and the availability of drivers for Trekstor Pyrus Maxi and PocketBook Surfpad 2. Most of the repairs address issues regarding the DOCX file format; among them is handling of hyperlinks created as fields, handling bookmarks set at paragraph level or links pointing to locations in the same document. Backup4all received a major update, to version 4.9, which implements a notable feature touching on email notifications.
This revision expands the supported encryption types when it comes to sending emails, by adding TLS (Transport Layer Security) protocol. Also new are environment variables in email notifications that occur with the backup procedure, mainly in the title and body of the message. A list of the environmental variables you can use is available here. The developer repaired a couple of glitches in Backup4all 4.9. One of them refers to the warning about missing PNG file; the other addresses an error that occurred when trying to restore the application’s configurations on 32-bit systems and consisted in warning the user about a missing file, but no name would be provided.

The recent update for Process Lasso incremented the application’s build number to 6.6.0.56. It brings to the table a few fixes and several changes designed for overall improvement and increased functionality.
Among the glitches addressed in Process Lass 6.6.0.56, some of them refer to the power profile dialog and the Energy Saver profile. Furthermore, the developer made some changes to improve Energy Saver logging and disabled the logging of actions such as default launches and terminations of a process. Additionally, the Energy Saver profile is no longer allowed to kick in when Governor running as a service because the idle time cannot be detected correctly. Camtasia Studio 8.1.1 Available for Download
This is a minor build that incorporates a hefty set of fixes affecting both functionality and stability of the application.
Camtasia Studio 8.1.1 does away with several issues that led to crashing of the program. This sort of behavior would sometimes occur when attempting to export the entire library, other times it would be induced by a memory leak (when the editor was open for longer periods of time).
On the same note, the developer eliminated a crash bug that manifested when trimming a stitched media with audio keyframes and noise removal. Also, in some cases the application would crash at playback when a different program had control over the playback device.
Sometimes moving audio volume points to different positions would also lead to a crash, but the developer announced that this has been fixed in Camtasia Studio 8.1.1.
Stability problems are not the only ones addressed in this revision as the release notes inform of plenty of repairs
